NASA CASA team publishes paper in The Earth Observer. The paper, “Interpreting Land Cover Change by Combining NASA and Commercial Satellite Data,” authored by Chris Potter (SGE), Vanessa Genovese and Peggy Gross (CSUMB), was published in the September-October issue of The Earth Observer (Vol. 19, Issue 5). The report describes a technique that the team has developed to study land-cover change in California that combines 250-m resolution data from Terra MODIS and other high-resolution images such as those from Google Earth.
