Transformed Landsat TM Channels to Estimate Biomass

Using attenuation coefficient ratios for Landsat TM bands 2 and 3, the AVIRIS channels at those band centers were transformed to a "depth-invariant" band. Armstrong performed regressions between transformed bands and seagrass biomass. In shallow water, purple, blue, and cyan appear to be SAV. Source: Armstrong, R. 1993.
