The Quickbird 1 launch failed in November 2000. Quickbird 2 was successfully on 18 October 2001. The imaging sensors are panchromatic and multispectral. Quickbird 2 has a polar, circular, 600-km orbit and have a swath width of 22 km. Quickbird 2's orbit is sun-synchronous.
