Indian Remote Sensing (IRS) P3 was launched in 1996. This sateillite carries two different imaging sensors: Modular Optoelectronic Scanner (MOS) and Wide Field Scanner (WiFS). The satellite has a polar, circular, sun-synchronous 817-km orbit with a 5-day repeat cycle. The MOS swath width is 200km and the WiFS swath width is 770km.
