RS/GIS Applications to Raccoon Rabies Control

Objectives:

• Develop predictive spatial models of epizootic wildlife rabies Identify target areas for vaccine placement on a regional scale
• Field data: Raccoon population densities, home ranges, dispersal patterns, and locations of tested raccoons
• Satellite data: Landsat Thematic Mapper
