CHAART Exercise 1: Pasture Distance Plot
Comparison of mosquito abundance, NDVI in early June, and
distance to a cattle pasture for 104 rice fields in the lower Sacramento
Valley of California. This wiregraph shows that fields with high
numbers of mosquitoes tend to also have high NDVI values early in the
season and are located closer to pastures, where preferred bloodmeal
sources are found.
